Eagles At Titans: Philadelphia Leads 13-7 At The Half

With the clock not even working, the Eagles got the ball back with 1:10 remaining in the first half. With four second remaining, David Akers kicked a 46 yard FG to put the Birds up 13-7 at the half.

It’s been a fairly erratic game on both sides of the ball as both teams have hurt themselves with bad penalties and turnovers. Kevin Kolb has one pick, while Kerry Collins has a pick and fumble. Both of the Titans turnovers were forced by Quintin Mikell. Both teams were penalized four times in the first half.

Kevin Kolb is 15/26 for 145 yards with a TD and an INT in the first half. Kolb and the Eagles offense are 7 for 10 on third down.

The Eagles defense has really showed up today holding the Titans to just 87 total yards. They’ve sacked Kerry Collins three times and have held him to just 62 yards passing. Chris Johnson had a good first half with 44 rushing yards, but hasn’t really hurt the Eagles yet, so they have to considered themselves as winning that matchup so far.
