NFL Power Rankings Week 12: Eagles Flying High

More NFL power rankings are out and there hasn’t been a whole lot of movement in the top five. The Eagles got themselves a big win on Sunday over the Giants, but so did teams like the Patriots… So the polls where the Eagles move the most are the ones who still had them sitting behind the Giants last week.

SB Nation has the Eagles at No. 5.

The Eagles could be ranked higher the way they’re playing. They have two road games against the Bears and Giants remaining. After that, they play no teams with winning records. The Eagles have a lot of potential to grow.

ESPN has the Eagles holding steady at No. 6.

Michael Vick was impressive overcoming adversity Sunday on what wasn’t his best night.

FOX Sports has the Eagles up three spots to No. 6 behind the Saints.

Philadelphia was able to win a game last week where it didn’t get a super-human effort from veteran QB Michael Vick. It was important for the Eagles to get major contributions from players from both sides of the ball.

Real Clear Sports, who takes the average ranks of a number of national polls has the Eagles tied at No. 5 with the Green Bay Packers this week.
