Eagles Vs. Texans: NFL Week 13 Game Capsules

The Philadelphia Eagles finally looked mortal this past Sunday, as they dropped their first game in November, a 31-26 defeat at the hands of the surging Chicago Bears. Michael Vick threw his first interception of the season, but generally speaking, played well enough to give his team a chance to win. It was the Eagles' defense that struggled, allowing Jay Cutler to register a quarterbacking rating of over 146.

There's not much time to over-analyze what went wrong though for Andy Reid and the rest of the Eagles' coaching staff. The Eagles host the Houston Texans this Thursday night at Lincoln Financial Field. On paper, you'd think that Vick and the Eagles' offense will have their way with the Texans' secondary. But this is the NFL. The unexpected happens each and every week. Expect a hard-fought, close game, as both teams are right there in the thick of things in their respective divisions.

Here's a few facts, figures and trends from the two teams' series history (hint: there isn't much of one), as well as up-to-date season stats for both squads.
