New York Post Cover Unoriginal, In Poor Taste

Via Philly.com, here's what this morning's New York Post looked like:

First of all, the metaphor doesn't even work. Michael Vick arranged dog fights, he didn't come back from a 31-10 deficit with 8 minutes to go against them when they're running on two legs in Giants jerseys trying to catch up with him. Everyone, Vick included, can agree that what he did during those years was reproachable, but to keep rehashing the same tired jokes over and over again shows not only that you're a terribly sore loser, but also that you aren't original enough to come up with new material.

The Post has a history of, well, being a bad paper, so this doesn't surprise me in the least. A cover could sell a few papers (newspapers, for those who aren't familiar) though I'm not sure how having material in poor taste will save the Post from going under. In the meantime, I'll keep watching Eagles-Giants highlights and laugh my way to a first-round bye.

Stay classy, New York.
