Michael Vick Named NFC Offensive Player Of The Week For Comeback Over Giants

New, 1 comment

Michael Vick has been named the NFC Offensive Player Of The Week for his unbelievable fourth quarter performance against the New York Giants last weekend. He threw three touchdowns and ran for another in one of the great comebacks in franchise history. The Eagles erased a 21 point deficit in the final 8 minutes to beat the Giants and take control of the NFC East.

This is the seventh time in his career Vick has won the offensive player of the week and the third time this season. He’s won the award three times in the past seven weeks. Clearly Vick is making a serious push for the MVP.

Vick also threw for 242 yards and rushed for another 130.
