Michael Vick's Two TDs Give Philadelphia Eagles 14-3 Lead Over Jacksonville Jaguars At The Half

The Eagles’ offense hasn’t looked quite as crisp as it did last week, but big plays from Michael Vick & DeSean Jackson have given the Eagles a 14-3 lead anyway.

The Eagles first score came on a 61 yard strike from Vick to Jackson on a 3rd and 19. The Eagles second TD came just at the end of the first half as Vick led the Eagles on a 7 play 53 yard drive with no timeouts left that culminated in a 16 yard TD pass to Jeremy Maclin. The drive started with 1:37 left in the half and left just 4 seconds on the clock. Perfectly executed from Michael Vick.

Vick has now hooked up with Maclin for a red zone TD in three straight games.

The Eagles defense played what was arguably it’s best half of football all year. The front four especially have been active sacking David Garrard twice. Darryl Tapp, playing in his first game of the year got the first sack and Trevor Laws, who has been in the backfield constantly, got the second.
