Pro Football Weekly put out their end of season NFL awards and several Eagles were honored. Asante Samuel was named to their 2010 All Pro team as the starting cornerback with Darrelle Revis. Samuel had a fantastic year where he continued to rack up interceptions, but was finally shutting down WRs as well. When you combine his interceptions and pass defenses, he was getting his hands on the ball one out of every three times he was targeted. I didn't see his final stats, but as of November opposing QBs had a rating of 29 on passes thrown toward Samuel.
↵Michael Vick won their comeback player of the year award, which as we said when The Sporting News gave him the same award, was the easiest choice they've ever had for this one.
↵Finally, Marty Mornhinweg was named their Assistant Coach Of The Year. Marty called an Eagles offense that broke a franchise record in scoring and has been credited as the driving force behind Michael Vick's resurgence.
