And then there were two... The Eagles originally had five players elected to the 2011 Pro Bowl. Earlier this week, Asante Samuel and Jason Peters decided they wouldn't attend. Today, DeSean Jackson "tweaked" his knee in practice and will not play in the game. That leaves only Michael Vick and David Akers to represent the Eagles in Honolulu.
↵An Eagles spokesman called the injury "very minor" and Jackson himself said he was fine.
↵"Injuries are a part of the game and things like that," Jackson said. "Just fortunate it wasn't nothing too serious. I'm perfectly fine."
↵It's actually too bad to season Jackson withdraw from the game considering that he's one of the few that players that genuinely seemed to enjoy being there and relish actually playing in the game. All players love to make the team, but many don't care about playing in the game. Judging from his tweets all week, Jackson did.
