The NFL playoffs begin today with arguably the least interesting matchup leading the way. The 11-5 New Orleans Saints travel to Seattle to take on the 7-9 Seahawks at Qwest field. Seatlle lost 7 of their previous 9 games heading into their week 17 finale against the Rams, but ground out an ugly win to sneak into the playoffs with a losing record. The Saints are an 11 point favorite. This game begins at 4:30 on NBC.
↵The late game is a bit more interesting pitting the New York Jets at the Indianapolis Colts. Both teams were not quite as good as as they were expected to be this season, yet they both got themselves into the postseason and have played better as of late. Oddly enough, the Jets have actually seemed to play better on the road at times this season. They beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh and played well at Chicago in the final weeks of the season. The Colts have only lost twice this year at home and are three point favorites. This game begins at 8pm on NBC.
↵Tomorrow the Chiefs host the Ravens at 1pm on CBS and the Eagles host the Packers at 4:30 on FOX.
