The fifth week of the NFL season has come to an end. There are some teams that have performed exceptionally well while others have not been playing to their potential. With five weeks in the books, the divisions are beginning to take shape and it is quickly becoming apparent who are the top teams in the league.

Before the NFL season, the Philadelphia Eagles were dubbed "the Dream Team" after picking up some high valued players in the off season. Unfortunately, thus far the team has yet to really mesh well. Through the first four weeks of the season, the Eagles were 1-3 going into their game with the Buffalo Bills. Quarter Back Michael Vick threw four interceptions, one of which was returned for a touch down. That touchdown ended up being their undoing, losing the game by seven.

The Eagles are now 1-4 on the season and have dropped the last four straight games. The Washington Redskins are now 3-1 and in first place, the Giants are 3-2, the Dallas Cowboys are 2-2, and the Eagles are now 1-4. The NFC East's standings could change with the Eagles and Giants having a bye in two weeks.
