Reports: Eagles Get 7th-Round Pick From Lions In Harrison Trade

According to reports from both Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News and Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the pick the Philadelphia Eagles received in exchange for running back Ronnie Brown is a seventh-rounder in the 2013 draft. The pick, listed as an "undisclosed 2013 draft pick" on the Eagles' official website, comes from the Detroit Lions along with running back Jerome Harrison. Harrison gained 239 yards in eight games with the Eagles last season after being acquired from the Cleveland Browns mid-season.

The move was a swap of seldom-used running backs, as neither player had a carry the past two weeks. Though Brown was expected to be used in goal-line situations when he signed with the Eagles over the offseason, he saw his playing time dwindle after a particularly embarrassing fumble Oct. 2 against San Francisco, during which he ran into a pile and threw the ball backward.
