2012 Pro Bowl Voting Opens Today

The 2012 Pro Bowl voting opens Tuesday, the NFL has announced. Balloting is open until Monday, Dec. 19 at the conclusion of Monday Night Football.

The 2012 Pro Bowl voting opens Tuesday, the NFL has announced. Fans can vote by going to NFL.com/probowl.

Balloting is open until Monday, Dec. 19 at the conclusion of Monday Night Football (Pittsburgh Steelers at San Francisco 49ers, 8:30 p.m.). The Pro Bowl teams will be announced at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 on a special NFL Total Access 2012 Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network.

The 2012 Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 and televised live on NBC at 7 p.m. from Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.    

The rosters will be based on a consensus votes of players, coaches and fans. Each group's vote counts one-third toward determining the 43-man rosters that will represent the AFC and NFC in the Pro Bowl.

Michael Vick (1,522,437 votes) finished second in last year's voting behind only Tom Brady (1,877,079). Fellow quarterbacks Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers and Drew Brees rounded out the top five.
