Fantasy Football Start/Sit: Eagles Vs Bills

The Eagles travel to Buffalo to take on the surprising Bills today desperately looking for a win, much like I'm sure many of you are with your fantasy team. So what can we expect out of some Eagles today?

Michael Vick and both of the Eagles WRs would seem like solid starts. The Bills have surrendered the 8th most passing yards in the NFL so far this season and are tied for the third most passing TDs allowed (the Eagles are tied for 1st!). Plus, given that the Bills have the 4th highest scoring offense in the league, expect the Eagles to be throwing early and often.

If there is a sleeper in this game though, it could be TEs Brent Celek and/or Clay Harbor. Celek has pretty went missing this year as once again he's had a lot of blocking duties and the Eagles offense just hasn't seemed to utilize the TE all that much. However, if there ever was a week to break out some packages for Celek, it could be this one. Since last season, the Bills have been Eagle-like in their ability to cover TEs and have been lit up the past two weeks by Rob Gronkowski and Jermaine Gresham.

This is also a week where you may want to give the Eagles defense a look. On its face it looks like a bad matchup because the Bills offense is good and the Eagles D stinks, but from a fantasy perspective the Eagles are leading the league in sacks and Buffalo will be without it's starting LT in this game. Rookie 4th round pick Chris Hairston will be matched up with the NFL sack leader Jason Babin in this game, which could not only lead to a few sacks of Ryan Fitzpatrick, but possibly also some mistakes that will bring you fantasy points.
