Eagles Thursday Injury Update: Asante Samuel Limited With Groin Injury

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel was forced into limited participation in Thursday's practice due to a groin injury. Samuel is the only change from Wednesday's injury report. Defensive end Juqua Parker joined Samuel in limited participation with his high-ankle sprain.

Additionally, safety Nate Allen (concussion) and guard Evan Mathis (toe) each did not participate in practice for the second day in a row.

Defensive end Brandon Graham (knee), offensive tackle Winston Justice (knee), center Jason Kelce (quadricep) and running back LeSean McCoy (shoulder) were all listed as full participants Thursday.

As for their opponents this week, the Arizona Cardinals, the injury report reads as follows:

DID NOT PARTICIPATE IN PRACTICE: tight end Rob Housler (groin), quarterback Kevin Kolb (toe), linebacker Joey Porter (knee), safety Kerry Rhodes (foot)

 

LIMITED PARTICIPATION IN PRACTICE: tight end Todd Heap (hamstring), cornerback A.J. Jefferson (foot), linebacker Paris Lenon (groin), running back Anthony Sherman (ankle), kick returner LaRod Stephens-Howling (shoulder), running back Chris Wells (knee)

 

FULL PARTICIPATION IN PRACTICE: cornerback Michael Adams (neck)
