According to ESPN's Adam Schefter Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, Michael Vick has been officially ruled out for Sunday night's game against the New York Giants with broken ribs.
WR Jeremy Maclin (shoulder/hamstring) and QB Michael Vick (ribs) downgraded to out for Sunday night's game vs. Giants.
Vick was hurt last week against the Arizona Cardinals and has been battered and bruised all season long. He's also failed to live up to high expectations following last year's amazing season. He has 11 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and eight fumbles this season.
The Eagles sit at 3-6 on the season, making Sunday night's contest against the NFC East-leading Giants a must-win if Philadelphia wants to keep any playoff hope alive. A loss would technically drop them four games back of the Giants in the division since the Giants would hold the tiebreaker, with six games remaining.
Backup Vince Young is likely the starter. He's only thrown one pass this season - which he completed to the other team for an interception.
