DeSean Jackson Injury: Eagles WR Has Right Knee Injury

The Eagles are already down one starting WR with Jeremy Maclin out and at least for the moment it appears as though they've lost the other. Jackson has been taken to the locker room for "further evaluation" on his right knee. Jackson was hurt after making a nice first down catch on a low throw from Vince Young. Jackson dove the for the ball and appeared to have his knee bounce off the turf.

He immediately took off his helmet and signaled for the trainers. They looked at his knee for a bit on the sidelines before deciding to take him into the locker room. The good news is that he was jogging on his way to the locker room and didn't have a noticeable limp. Jackson had two catches for 39 yards in the first two quarters.

His absence leaves the Eagles WR corps very thin. Jason Avant, Steve Smith & Riley Cooper are currently all they've got. Chad Hall can also line up in the slot if needed, but obviously the options are very limited.

[Update by JasonB, 11/20/11 9:27 PM EST ] DeSean Jackson is back in the game. He did not miss a series.
