Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin have been officially ruled out for Thursday's game against the Seattle Seahawks, according to the Eagles injury report. LeSean McCoy, who Andy Reid said yesterday had a sprained toe, and Nnamdi Asomugha are both listed as questionable.
With Vick out, Eagles fans and fantasy football owners can pencil in Vince Young for his third start this season. The quarterback talked to the media about prepping for a short week.
"It's not really hard, I mean we're pros so guys have been through it [and] I've been through it down in Nashville; I think the guys said they played the Texans last year. So other guys have done it before. The only thing is the rookies, the young guys, I mean it's different for them but overall guys that have been here and played know how to adjust to it pretty good."
McCoy is expected to play on Thursday. The Eagles running back walked through part of practice, but did not fully participate.
Bleeding Green Nation editor Jason Brewer adds, "As for Asomugha, he also went through the walk throughs and will be a game time decision. However, what his role will be won't be clear. It was fairly ridiculous last week when he was used only in certain packages and clearly did not seem up to speed."
