The Philadelphia Eagles (4-7) are looking to bounce back after a loss to the Patriots when they play the Seattle Seahawks (4-7) on Thursday. As Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin have already been ruled out of the contest, fantasy owners looking for good waiver wire pickups can still look to the Eagles to provide value.
The best players to pickup from the Eagles this week are Jason Avant, Vince Young, Riley Cooper and Brent Celek. Numberfire.com has provided projections for each of these players.
WR Jason Avant 2.65 rec for 33.89 yds, 0.20 TDs for 4.60 pts
QB Vince Young 20.60/33.11, 237.63 yds, 1.18 TDs, 1.48 INTs for 14.85 pts
WR Riley Cooper 2.23 rec for 37.01 yds, 0.28 TDs for 5.51 pts
TE Brent Celek 3.54 rec for 39.33 yds, 0.38 TDs for 6.19 pts
Those projections make it look like Avant is mistakenly on this list. However, Avant was one of Vince Young's favorite targets against New England. Avant finished that game with good numbers: 8 catches, 110 yards, 1 TD. Celek (5 catches, 75 yards) was another option who Young sought out during that game and could be considered the best pickup of the group. Riley Cooper could see some increased attention as well if LeSean McCoy is limited.
