The 3-4 Philadelphia Eagles will host the 4-3 Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football – the Eagles second consecutive prime-time game. The Eagles are coming off an impressive victory over the Dallas Cowboys where the NFL's best rushing attack racked up 239 yards en route to a 34-7 blowout. Running back LeSean McCoy torched the Cowboys D – who came into the game as the NFL's best run defense – for 185 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries.
According to OddsShark.com the Eagles opened the week as seven-point favorites. Throughout the week the line has inflated to 7.5 or 8 on many sites, and as high as 9 on 5dimes.com. The money lines opened at -330 for the Eagles and +289 for the Bears, meaning a bettor would have to wager 330 on the Eagles WITHOUT the points to win 100, and if 100 dollars were wagered on the Bears straight up the payout would be 289.
Both teams bring two-game winning streaks into the Monday night showdown.
