The Eagles and Bears give us one of the best Monday Night Football matchups of the season so far, even if the respective records aren't too impressive. Clear your schedule and get in front of a TV or favorite online streaming site by game time.
In the last two weeks, Philadelphia has resurrected its season with convincing wins against NFC East rivals Washington and Dallas. After a disastrous 1-4 start, the Eagles trashed the Cowboys so bad that SBN Philly's own Dan Klausner wondered if Philadelphia is the best 3-4 team ever (if such a thing exists).
A win on national television against the 4-3 Bears and the Eagles Super Bowl bandwagon should fill right back up. The Eagles have been a lightning rod for public scorn and finger pointing, but if the Eagles get back to .500 on Monday Night Football, that should go away at least for a week.
Michael Vick seems to know this much, too. "I think all the guys like to play on Monday night because the whole world is watching on Sunday and Monday nights," Vick said. "It gives you an opportunity to showcase your talents in front of the whole world, and you obviously want to try and put on a good showing. Just to go out and play with confidence each and every week, you have to be ready to go."
Matchup: Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) vs. Chicago Bears (4-3)
