Matt Moore Injury: Dolphins QB Heads To The Lockerroom

Dolphins' QB Matt Moore has been taken to the locker room after being sacked by Brian Rolle in the third quarter of this afternoon's Eagles vs Dolphins game. Moore was slow to get up after Rolle hit in the act of passing on a play where Reggie Bush simply failed to block the blitzer. Moore tried to get up, but eventually fell back down to one knee and had teammates calling over the trainers. He stood on the sideline for several minutes before being taken into the locker room.

He has been replaced by journeyman J.P. Losman, who was signed after the Dolphins lost starter Chad Henne for the year.

Moore has started 9 straight games since taking over for Henne and has led the Dolphins to a 4-1 record over their last five games. Over that stretch he's played well enough that at least some Dolphin fans are wondering whether he might be the solution at QB. Prior to Moore taking over, the Dolphins were winless and had their sights set on Andrew Luck.

The Dolphins are calling it a head injury and call Moore's return questionable.
