Believe it or not, the Philadelphia Eagles are still in the playoff hunt. After their Week 13 loss to Seattle dropped them to 4-8, chances looked very slim. But now it's a very real possibility as they stand 6-8 going into Week 16's match up with their divisional rival Cowboys.
It's not often the NFC East can be won with an 8-8 team, but that's the only way the Eagles can get in. But they'll have to win out and get some help.
As of now, they are two games back of Dallas, but will hold a tie breaker if they beat them this week on Christmas Eve. The Eagles then close out the season at home against the Redskins.
In addition to winning out, the Eagles will need some help from New York -- both of them. They will need the Jets to beat the Giants in Week 16 and then will need the Giants to beat Dallas in Week 17. If that's how it plays out, which is not far fetched at all, the Eagles would win the three-way tie breaker.
