A 43-yard field goal from Philadelphia Eagles kicker Alex Henery extend Philly's lead over the Dallas Cowboys to 17-0 late in the third quarter. The kick concluded a five play, 34-yard drive that the Eagles started at their own 41 yard line. The drive began with a 39-yard pass from Michael Vick to Brent Celek, but it stalled after that, with the Eagles failing to gain another yard on the drive.
The Cowboys continued to struggle moving the ball in the third quarter. Back up QB Stephen McGee— who entered the game after a hand injury to starting QB Tony Romo— has been efficient and careful, but the Cowboys have been unable to string together a long drive. Dallas has only 151 total yards, no plays for 20 yards or longer, only 10 first downs and is 3-11 on third downs.
