Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy returned to the team's practice on Thursday after spraining his ankle during Saturday's victory against the Dallas Cowboys.
"LeSean is at practice and participating. He just caught a pass from Duce in warmups," tweeted Reuben Frank of CSN Philadelphia.
After McCoy missed Wednesday's practice, coach Andy Reid said his star running back wanted to compete in Sunday's regular season finale against the Washington Redskins.
"Well, it's not a high ankle sprain so we'll just see how he does here. If he can play, he'll play. He wants to play. We'll see how he does," said Reid.
Cornerback Asante Samuel, who missed the Cowboys game due to a hamstring injury, was not on the field during the portion of Thursday's practice open to media. On Wednesday, Reid said Samuel's upper hamstring was experiencing some bleeding and it might be a stretch for the corner to play this weekend.
