Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick participated in the team's light practice on Monday, and told reporters he expects to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.
"Threw the ball around a little bit and just gained confidence in the areas where I'd felt hampered a little bit," Vick said. "It feels like I haven't played in a month or so ... I'm happy that I completed practice, and I'm looking forward to a great week."
Vick, who has missed the past three games with broken ribs, said he would not consider himself 100 percent healthy. But he said he felt good and has enough time to improve by Sunday.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin did not participate in the light practice session, but told reporters his absence was simply precautionary. He said he expects to return to the practice field Wednesday and play Sunday against the Dolphins.
