Philadelphia Eagles 2011 Schedule: Eagles On National TV 8 Times

The NFL has released its 2011 schedule and it appears as though they see the Philadelphia Eagles as one of, if not their top draw. The Eagles will be featured on national TV eight times this season, a number that could grow with flex scheduling later in the year.

The Eagles will open the season on September 11th in St Louis, then will travel to Atlanta for what will be one of the most hyped games of the early season against the Falcons on Sunday Night Football.

The home opener will come the following week against the New York Giants. As for other notable dates: Dallas visits after the Eagles bye on Sunday, October 30 for another Sunday Night game. The Eagles will then host the Bears the following week on Monday night football.

They get one week off national TV before going back to Sunday night football at the Giants. They’ll be the CBS national game against the Patriots the following week, then they head to Seattle for a Thursday night date in Seattle with the Seahawks on NFL Network.

The Eagles final national TV games come against the Jets on December 18th and the Cowboys on December 24th. Here’s the full schedule.
