Fantasy Football Studs & Duds: Rams Vs Eagles

If you had an Eagle on your fantasy team this week, hopefully you started them. The Eagles defense had a huge day with 5 sacks, a turnover and a touchdown. QB Michael Vick didn't have a ton of passing yards, but threw for two TDs and ran for over 100 yards. However, Andy Reid really screwed you over as a Vick owner by having him kneel down twice, because that was counted as two yards lost, which pushed him back under 100 yards for the day, stealing away the 100 yards rushing bonus. RB LeSean McCoy repaid the faith of the people who picked him top five with a 122 yard, 2 TD performance. DeSean Jackson probably broke your heart a bit when he dropped two likely TDs earlier in the game, but overall he did have a good day with 102 yards receiving and a TD catch.

The only real fantasy disappointments were Jeremy Maclin & Brent celek, who each had just one catch.

For the Rams, it wasn't an overall good day. You probably shouldn't have ever had Sam Bradford starting for your fantasy team, but if you did he had a rough day throwing for less than 200 yards and no TDs. He also did not finish the game after leaving for x-rays on his finger. The biggest disappointments for the Rams came in the form of injuries. Steven Jackson was a top 10 pick in almost every league and he was lost after just one play this afternoon. Luckily that one play was a 47 yard TD... but he could have had a huge afternoon against a suspect Eagles run defense.

The other big injury, almost mostly only if you're in a PPR league, is the one to WR Danny Amendola. He dislocated his elbow, which was such an ugly looking injury that FOX refused to show the replay. His season could potentially be in doubt.
