Philadelphia Eagles News: Ryan Grigson Of Eagles No. 1 Target In Colts' General Manager Search

The Philadelphia Eagles might be on the hunt for a new director of player personnel soon, as Ryan Girgson is now the new target of the Indianapolis Colts for their General Manager opening. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Grigrson is Colts' owner Jim Irsay's No. 1 option to fulfill Indy's GM opening, which became vacant when Bill Polin was let go a week ago.

"Grigson, 39, has served as a talent evaluator in the NFL since 1999 when he began his career as a scout for the St. Louis Rams. He has been a member of the Eagles front office since joining the team in 2004, and has served as the team’s director of player personnel since 2010.

The former offensive lineman will enter the Colts franchise with two major tasks at hand. Figure out the future of the team’s longtime franchise quarterback, Peyton Manning, and make the decision on who to select with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft."
