Another SB Nation 2012 NFL Mock Draft was posted Tuesday, and Ryan Van Bibber has the Philadelphia Eagles selection Alabama inside linebacker Dont'a Hightower with the No. 15-overall selection.
"Where Hightower would play in Philly's defense remains to be seen," says Van Bibber. "His best fit might be on the strong side in their 4-3, but he might be able to play well in the middle. Wherever he plays, the Eagles defense lacked anyone with his instincts and power among their linebackers."
Now, just a few days ago another NFL mock draft had the Eagles selecting Boston College linebacker Luke Kuechly. So, it seems the consensus thinking is if there's a play-making linebacker available the Eagles are going to grab them up quickly.
