2012 NFL Mock Draft: Philadelphia Eagles, Luke Kuechly Linked Again

The name Luke Kuechly is becoming a familiar one to any Philadelphia Eagles fans with an interest in the NFL Draft.

SB Nation's latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft is the most recent to project the Eagles selecting Kuechly, a middle linebacker from Boston College who set the ACC record for most career tackles (532).

The Eagles defense should take a big leap forward with a foundation middle linebacker in the mix. That's exactly what they get with Kuechly. His instincts and tough play should end the Eagles troubles of being steamrolled by opposing running backs.

Mocking The Draft ranks Kuechly No. 12 among its Top 100 NFL Draft Prospects, calling the Boston College product " the most instinctual linebacker prospect since James Laurinaitis in the 2009 NFL Draft."

Kuechly is viewed by most as a can't-miss prospect whose ceiling is hindered by a lack of elite athleticism, but should be able to contribute immediately and carve a nice NFL career.
