Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy and tackle Jason Peters have been selected to the Associated Press 2011 NFL All-Pro Team, which was announced early Friday afternoon. Both were named to the team for the first time.

McCoy had the best season of his career, rushing for 1,309 yards and 17 touchdowns while adding 315 yards receiving and three touchdowns receiving. Still, he said he sees room for improvement looking ahead to the future.

"There are so many things I can do better," he said. "I look at the numbers and see so many plays I left on the field, so many yards. I can perfect my game a lot more."

Peters started 14 games for Philadelphia and anchored the offensive line.

Detriot Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jared Allen were the leading vote getters, receiving 49 of 50 votes at their respective positions.
