Falcons vs. Eagles final score: Atlanta topples Philly 30-17 to remain unbeaten

Matt Ryan threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Atlanta Falcons to a convincing 30-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Atlanta stayed perfect, improving to 7-0 this season. The Eagles dropped to 3-4.

Ryan threw two first-quarter touchdown passes to put the Falcons up 14-0 going into the second quarter. He added another -- a 63-yard touchdown to Julio Jones -- midway through the second quarter.

Ryan's day checked in a bit better than Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick's. Vick was 21-for-35 for 177 yards. He threw his only touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. He found LeSean McCoy for a 7-yard gain to cut Atlanta's lead to 30-17.

McCoy also had a rushing touchdown. He finished the day with 16 carries for 45 yards and a second-quarter touchdown run.

Atlanta was in charge from the beginning. The Falcons led at halftime, 24-7.

Fantasy studs and duds

Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan made his fantasy owners happy with three touchdown passes and 262 yards. Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones was also big, hauling in five passes for 123 yards and a touchdown.

Eagles running back LeSean McCoy had 45 rushing yards, a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown. Falcons running back Michael Turner didn't have a great day, rushing for 58 yards on 23 attempts with no touchdowns.

Injury report

Eagles defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins left the game in the first half, but later returned to the game. Eagles cornerback Brandon Boykin and wide receiver Mardy Gilyard also left the game with injuries.

Did they cover?

The Eagles entered as 1 1/2-point favorites, so they did not cover the spread.
