The Philadelphia Eagles might be ready to give up on Michael Vick as their starting quarterback.
According to Bleeding Green Nation, Howard Eskin of 94WIP/FOX29 is reporting that the Eagles are 'likely' to make a switch under center.
Much speculation has been made in the past few weeks with the Eagles struggling that rookie Nick Foles might get an opportunity to start if the team didn't right the ship.
Coming off the bye week, Philadelphia was soundly defeated at home against the Atlanta Falcons, dropping its record to 3-4 and perhaps fueling a change by Andy Reid. The loss is the first in Reid's tenure following a bye week.
After the game, it was reported Reid met with his assistant coaches to talk about making some adjustments to the depth chart, particularly behind center.
Vick didn't make any major mistakes on Sunday, but Eskin tweeted out that Vick made two costly errors at the line with audibles. Eskin went on to state these mistakes are the same ones Vick has been making for weeks on end.
