Eagles Injury Report, Week 8: Mardy Gilyard injures hamstring

Other than a Mardy Gilyard hamstring injury, the Eagles escaped Sunday without any health issues.

David Butler II-US PRESSWIRE

The Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Atlanta Falcons, 30-17, on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field, dropping their record to a very disappointing 3-4 on the year.

However, there was some good news coming out of the loss. Outside of Mardy Gilyard suffering a hamstring injury, the rest of the team remained healthy going into Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints.

Gilyard's ailment will be further evaluated on Monday, but for now, he's being called questionable for next weekend's game.

Guard Danny Watkins had to miss the contest versus Atlanta because of a bad ankle, but he may return in time to play against the high-powered Saints.

Watkins is a big loss for a team that's already without two of their starters on the offensive line in center Jason Kelce and left tackle Jason Peters.

Peters was ruled out for the year in the preseason while Kelce partially tore his ACL against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2.
