Michael Vick will remain Eagles' starting QB

The Eagles will not be making a change at quarterback this week.

Michael Vick is still the starter at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles this week. Vick has struggled this season, and some have been expecting head coach Andy Reid to make a depth chart move. He hasn't for now, but has extra time to decide ahead the team's game next Monday night against the New Orleans Saints, according to Philly.com.

Vick has posted just a 78.6 quarterback rating this season. He has completed 59 percent of his passes with nine touchdowns, eight interceptions, and nine fumbles. The quarterback has struggled to match his numbers from the 2010 season, when he threw 21 touchdowns and just six interceptions.

The Eagles, who had high expectations, have struggled for the second straight season. A loss on Sunday dropped the team to 3-4, and Philadelphia is now 2.5 games behind the New York Giants in the NFC East standings.

Nick Foles is Vick's backup, but he is an untested rookie. Foles impressed in the preseason, and that has some calling for him to replace the veteran.
