Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy says his feud with New York Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora is over. In a radio interview on WIP on Monday, McCoy said he and Umenyiora agreed to put their differences aside following Sunday's 19-17 Eagles win over the Giants. From McCoy's comments it seems like Umenyiora was the one to extend the olive branch:
"... after the game (Umenyiora) said, 'You're a heck of a player, we're in this business, let's get over this,' "
Umenyiora confirmed that the feud was over in a radio interview of his own on ESPN 98.7 on Tuesday. The Giants' defensive end said it was irrelevant who decided to stop the feud.
Leading up to the game McCoy, reignited the war of words when he called Umenyiora a "ballerina" and the fourth-best defensive lineman on the Giants. The two players had exchanged insults ever since McCoy first called Umenyiora soft over a year ago.
