In Week 13 power rankings from around the Internet, the struggling Philadelphia Eagles did themselves no favors last weekend, as they continued to drop toward the bottom of the 32-team lists for another week.
After falling to the Carolina Panthers, 30-22, over the weekend, the Eagles landed at No. 31 in SB Nation's weekly ranking of the best teams in the league, and Joel Thorman had only this to say about Philadelphia: "Still a train wreck."
Though Thorman's spot for the Eagles at No. 31 was the lowest among some of the rankings around the country, the Eagles didn't fare much better at ESPN.com, where Philadelphia was down three spots to No. 30 this week. ESPN seemed only interested in if the Eagles could still grab the No. 1 overall pick in next year's NFL draft.
At NFL.com, the Eagles were No. 28, beneficiaries of the New York Jets' equally underwhelming season, while eyebrows were raised at Bryce Brown's heavy load against the Panthers.
