Eagles vs. Saints 2012: The sharks are circling

The Eagles lost to the Saints, 28-13, Monday night. The loss was Philadelphia's fourth straight and, again, has the fan base feeling hopeless about the season.

The New Orleans Saints dominated the Philadelphia Eagles, 28-13, on Monday Night Football. The loss was the Eagles (3-5) fourth straight loss, and places them in a tough situation as they need finishes the season with 6-2 record to make the 9-7 mark.

According to the SB Nation blog Bleeding Green Nation, a lot went wrong for the Eagles last night.

Much like last week against Atlanta, this was not a game where you could point to any one thing as the problem. It was evident once again that this Eagles team is rotten from the core.

The biggest concerns are on offense where the Eagles aren't taking advantage of scoring opportunities:

They had 1st and goal 4 different times in this game and came away with -1 points. The first resulted in a pick 6, the next 2 ended in field goals and the 4th ended with a fumble.

And they are failing to protect their quarterback Michael Vick, who was sacked seven time last night -- everybody is looking at you right tackle Demetress Bell.

If there is one guy that deserves to be straight up cut this week. Like, get off this team you don't belong here cut... It's Bell. Tonight was an embarrassment and there was no one worse than him.
