The Philadelphia Eagles have been looking ahead to the promise of 2013 for quite some time already, and that continues now that NFL mock drafts are starting to be released.
While the actual draft order for non-playoff teams won't be known for another week yet, the Eagles are being linked to offensive tackle Luke Joeckel by CBSSports.com's writers Rob Rang and Dane Brugler, the consensus top player at his position.
Joeckel has been a standout for the Texas A&M Aggies, protecting Johnny Manziel's blind side. With Jason Peters getting up there in age and coming off an injury, some feel the Eagles might move in Joeckel's direction come next April.
The addition of Joeckel would also provide stability for young Nick Foles, who spent much of his rookie season getting batted around in the backfield. Some, including Rang, believe that Joeckel is the best prospect in the draft, regardless of position.
