The Philadelphia Eagles were 3-1 after beating the New York Giants earlier in the season, but now they're 4-11 with an eight-game losing streak thrown in the mix. They're well out of the playoff race, but can play spoiler to the rival Giants in Week 17.
New York can finish 9-7 at best, but they could still make it into the playoffs as a wild card. The NFC East will be decided on Sunday, when the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins face off, so the Giants can only get in if some other wild card teams falter.
Philadelphia, on the other hand, has little to play for outside of playing spoiler. Head coach Andy Reid is likely on his way out and a win in Week 17 isn't likely to change that, while quarterback Michael Vick might be auditioning for a role next season. In fact, that might be true for a large part of the roster, as big changes are expected this offseason.
