2012 NFL Mock Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Linked To Luke Kuechly

Last year, the undoing of Philadelphia's season was turnovers and a lack of defense. They can only address one of those issues of course in the draft, and that's what Peter Schrager has them doing in his latest mock draft.

Luke Kuechly is Schrager's pick for the Eagles at the 15th spot. A talented inside linebacker out of Boston College, Kuechly was a tackling machine last year. He registered an unbelievable 191 tackles last season, and had a combined 532 in college.

Many wondered about Kuechly's speed and size but those questions were put to rest with an excellent combine showing. Kuechly ran 4.5 and 4.59 40-yard dash times, very nice numbers for a man of his build.

After Vontaze Burfict looked out of shape and very underwhelming in Indianapolis, it's a very safe bet to assume Kuechly will be the first inside backer taken in the draft. The Boston College man is expected to step in right away and be a difference maker, a huge plus for a team that thinks it's ready to win right now.
