Former Philadelphia Eagles running back, Brian Westbrook, is on record, saying that current Eagles running back, LeSean McCoy, "deserves to get paid".

Via CSN Philly:

McCoy was a second round selection of the Eagles in 2009 and finished third in the NFL in rushing last season, with 1309 yards. He also scored a league high 17 rushing touchdowns and added 48 receptions out of the backfield.

However; according to Pro Football Focus, a scouting site that watches – allegedly – every play from every NFL grade and assigns each player on the field an individual grade based on their contribution on a specific play, ranked McCoy as the 10th best running back, overall.

According to PFF, the reason McCoy graded so low was his contributions in the passing game, where he came in as the 42nd ranked running back. From a pure rushing perspective, he was the highest ranked RB. His low ranking in the passing game and as a blocker hindered his overall grade as a running back.
