According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio's most recent salary cap numbers, the Philadelphia Eagles are in pretty good shape compared to most other teams when it comes to cap space. According to Florio's numbers, the Eagles are $16.2 million under the cap. That puts the Eagles on top of the NFC East in terms of cap space as the Redskins are in the middle of the pack and the Cowboys and Giants are near the bottom.

The Eagles haven't been too terribly active in free agency. Most of the money they have spent has gone to re-signing their own players. They re-signed King Dunlap, Evan Mathis and they used the franchise tag on DeSean Jackson. They also brought in Mike Gibson from the Seahawks and Steve Vallos from the Browns.

They have lost a couple players too. Wide receiver Steve Smith signed with the Rams and defensive end Juqua Parker signed with the Browns.
