This comes one day after Jason Peters – the Eagles left tackle – ruptured his Achillies tendon and is likely to miss at least half of the 2012 season, if not more.
Pro Football Focus graded Peters as, far and away, the best tackle in the NFL last season with a grade of +27.6 on their grading scale. The next highest tackle was Dave Steward at +14.7, to give you an idea of how dominant Peters was.
