Eagles Free Agency 2012: OT Demetrius Bell To Meet With Eagles

According to Adam Schefter, Buffalo Bills free agent offensive tackle, Demetrius Bell, is scheduled to meet with the Philadelphia Eagles Saturday afternoon.

This comes one day after Jason Peters – the Eagles left tackle – ruptured his Achillies tendon and is likely to miss at least half of the 2012 season, if not more.

Pro Football Focus graded Peters as, far and away, the best tackle in the NFL last season with a grade of +27.6 on their grading scale. The next highest tackle was Dave Steward at +14.7, to give you an idea of how dominant Peters was.

As for Bell, PFF ranked him as the 17th best offensive tackle, tied with Jared Gaither, with a rating of +6.8
