2012 NFL Mock Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Select Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis

Despite acquiring DeMeco Ryans in the offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles might not be done developing their front seven.

In his latest 2012 NFL mock draft, Sports Illustrated's Don Banks projects that the Eagles will use the No. 15 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft to select Dontari Poe, a defensive tackle from Memphis.

Poe finds his NFL home, and it's not surprising to see Andy Reid taking the athletically gifted big man from Memphis. The Eagles need more strength up the middle of their defense, and the hope is that newly acquired linebacker DeMeco Ryans was just the beginning of that upgrade.

Poe, 6-foot-5, 350-pounder, is described by the National Football Post as a physical behemoth with the potential to develop into one of the league's better interior lineman. But his game also needs refinement, prompting concerns that he's more likely to be a flop than many other top prospects.
