Eagles Schedule 2012: NFL Network, ESPN Special To Reveal Games

Philadelphia Eagles fans waiting for the release of the 2012-13 schedule Tuesday, will need to be patient no more Tuesday as the NFL will reveal the 256-game slate starting at 7 p.m. ET on NFL Network. NFL Network and NFL.com will be the first source to have the team-by-team breakdown, while ESPN will have a three-hour SportsCenter, also starting at 7 p.m., that will breakdown the 17-week schedule of games.

Already known is the first game of the season, which will be played Wednesday, Sept. 5, against the defending Super Bowl Champions the New York Giants and NFC East Division rival the Dallas Cowboys. This contest will allow Eagles fans to get a nice, early-season look at their division rivals.

Also a new look for the '12-13 schedule will be primetime games for every 32 NFL franchises, which will feature Thursday night contests on NFL Network beginning on Week 2 and run through the remainder of the regular season.
