2012 NFL Mock Draft: Philadelphia Eagles Select Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State

In Wes Bunting's latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft, the National Football Post's NFL analyst projects that the Philadelphia Eagles will use the No. 15 pick to select Fletcher Cox, a defensive tackle from Mississippi State.

Cox is the kind of potential three-technique who can create behind the line of scrimmage and stop plays before they start. The Eagles don't have a huge need at DT, but Cox could still mature into a playmaker inside, at a position where Philly lacks an impact guy.

The Eagles are reportedly looking to trade up to assure themselves the opportunity to grab Cox, so they would likely be thrilled to have him fall all the way to the 15th pick.

Cox, a 6-4, 295-pounder, notched 56 tackles and five tackles as a junior before foregoing his final season of eligibility.
