NFL Mock Draft 2012: Devon Still Selected In 1st Round By New England Patriots

The 2012 NFL Draft is just a few days away. One of the top defensive tackles in this year's deep talent pool is former Penn St. Nittany Lions player Devon Still.

In the latest mock draft over at Draft Tek, the analysts predict that Still will be selected in the first round. Draft Tek has him going to the New England Patriots as the No. 27 overall pick. Here is their take:

The Pats defense has been talked about for the past 2 seasons but not for good reasons. The unit is usually singled out for the teams' shortcomings. While the secondary seems to be the major problem, a lack of talent along the DL has also been an issue. Wilfork is a stud but the rotation next to him has been below average. Plus 6 DTs currently on the roster are set to leave after the 2012 season. Still is a disruptive force thanks to his quick first step and would be a nice companion for Vince.

By as soon as Thursday, we could find out is this prediction will come true.
