Asante Samuel Trade Rumors: Falcons In Talks, Broncos No Longer Interested

With the 2012 NFL Draft quickly approaching, the Philadelphia Eagles are running out of time to trade veteran corner back Asante Samuel for a low-round draft pick. Luckily for the Eagles, the trade rumors are swirling and it seems as they're some teams interested in trading for the former All-Pro, one of them being the Atlanta Falcons, says FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer. Glazer says the Eagles and Falcons have held talks over the past couple days.

Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos, who were reportedly one of the original teams interested in acquiring Samuel, has slowly lost interest and has backed-out of talks, says ESPN.com's Adam Schefter.

If Samuel is traded, it is likely to happen before or during the 2012 draft, which gets underway this Thursday at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
