NFL Draft Rumors 2012: Philadelphia Eagles Calling About Syracuse's Chandler Jones

The 2012 NFL Draft is underway, and the Philadelphia Eagles are set to make their selection at No. 15 overall. However, there are now rumors that the Eagles are making calls about Syracuse defensive end prospect, Chandler Jones.

Jones (6-foot-5, 265 pounds) has been soaring up draft boards over the past few weeks, as scouts love his upside and possible potential as a pass-rushing defensive end. When Jones declared for the draft in December, he was slated as a fourth- or third-round draft pick, but has slowly made his way into the first round.

It is still uncertain if the Eagles are willing to trade-up to get Jones or if they're just going to to sit an wait for him to fall at them at No. 15.
